The Ambassador Platform can be used to support virtual events with Content, FAQs and conversations with prospects.

Start with a landing page and decide on your URL. It's as simple as your usual domain with:



The landing page needs to have a clear heading and subtitle to explain what's happening on the page. For example:

Explore <Institution Name>
Find out more about studying here by checking out our virtual tours, department and course pages, and speaking to our students, staff, and academics.

You should also consider adding photo or video content covering these key areas:

- a welcome video
- campus tour videos; if these have been created by your students, even better
- sports and societies videos

Where does TAP come in?

There are two approaches and each has it's own pros and cons, which we'll outline below:


  • This approach is requires less time to set up and requires one landing page.

  • You can paste the carousel and pop card code onto the same page in a couple of minutes.

  • Prospects can use the pop card to access your TAP Feed and view all Profiles, Content and FAQs.


  • Prospects have to scroll through a number of profiles on the carousel to find the right person to speak to.

  • Linking to an unfiltered TAP Feed using a pop card does not provide a customised, filtered experience based on key topic areas.

Getting started
Add a pop card to the landing page to link out to your main, unfiltered TAP Feed. Be sure to customise the title text and add tracking.

Add a profile carousel on the top-middle of your landing page, showing relevant profiles of students, staff and academics.

If you want to create two separate landing pages for domestic and international events, you can create tags for example, Domestic Open Day / International Open Day, and add these to the profiles you would like to appear on the profile carousel.

View a profile and open Tag Manger:

Add a new tag, or select from existing tags:

This is how it will display on the profile view:

You can then use these tags as search filters to create the carousel widget in Promotion and then embed the code on your landing page:

2. Filtered TAP Feed approach


  • You can provide a bespoke and custom experience for prospects, so that it's very easy for them to find the relevant profiles, content and FAQs to answer their questions.

  • Your landing page clearly sign posts the key topic areas that prospects can speak to you about.


  • It takes a little longer to set up and create the filtered TAP Feed links.

Getting started

To create a more targeted and bespoke experience, you can use the central part of your landing page to create links to a filtered TAP Feed based on specific areas, as well as including a pop card to your unfiltered TAP Feed.

Include headings such as:

'Chat to our students about Student and Campus Life'

'Accommodation and Student Finance Q&A'

'International Students Q&A'

'Admissions Q&A'

And add hyperlinks to your filtered TAP Feed.

Using the same tagging approach as described earlier, you can create tracked and filtered TAP Feed links, and also customise the title and heading on your TAP Feed per link:

Add tags to relevant profiles, but also relevant FAQs, photos, and video content. Then, your filtered TAP Feed for Admissions Q&A, for example, will the contain Admissions staff profiles, and any relevant content and FAQs tagged against this term.

In advance of the day create FAQs based around each key area (eg. common admissions questions) and introductory videos from your ambassadors. You can also create video answers to common questions as a more engaging option.
